In creating the Fragrance Travel Cases, Louis Vuitton applies its savoir-faire and mastery in custom-designing the perfect case for transporting and protecting each item of one’s personal belongings. This perfume pouch was designed specially to carry bottles from the Perfumes of the World collection by Louis Vuitton, which continues its exploration of cultures and beauty with a new chapter: a trio of fragrances inspired by the Chinese art of living. It draws inspiration from historic silk snuff bottle pouches, an art object of timeless refinement. Crafted in Monogram pleated satin, this accessory makes an ideal travel companion thanks to its practical handles and leather base. A hand-tied cord recalling the traditional Chinese peace knot enhances the beauty of this pouch. Through the three creations of the collection, the Maison extends an invitation to discover the rituals, craftsmanship and raw materials that nourish the spirit of travel. For the occasion, the silhouette of the apothecary-style bottle designed by Marc Newson meets the Chinese snuff bottle. This small bottle, at once functional and precious, resonates with the tradition of the Maison that, since 1854, has brought beauty and utility together in iconic travel objects. The bottles are made of opalescent glass with changing reflections and crowned with a lacquered cap in deep hues. Each chromatic pairing reflects the unique identity of each perfume.
