Louis Vuitton maintains an exacting relationship with oud wood, cultivated over many years with an exclusive supplier that ensures access to rare and exceptional quality. Once distilled, it becomes a precious essence found at the heart of emblematic Louis Vuitton perfumes. For the first time, Louis Vuitton now presents this living raw material, shaped by time and savoir-faire, in its original and most elemental state, in the form of fragments. These have been meticulously selected for their density and dark hues, hallmarks of a high concentration of fragrant resin. Jacques Cavallier Belletrud describes this oud’s fragrance trail as “woody, spicy and ambery, with exceptional finesse and depth.” Offered separately from the Bakhoor ritual set, the LV Oud box (10g) makes it possible to prolong the ceremony — or start one anew.
